A trial session with me costs €60, the bridal hairstyle on your wedding day €120. If a second trial session is needed, that is €60 again. The price of your trial session and your bridal hairstyle covers all the expertise, time and attention needed to arrive at a hairstyle that suits you perfectly, including the products and tools I use. The products and materials from your trial session can simply be used again on your wedding day. Are you using my clip-in extensions? Their rental is charged separately, as is any mileage allowance for travelling on your wedding day. That way you always have a clear view of your total investment.

When your wedding date is confirmed, I ask for a €50 deposit to secure your date in my calendar. The remaining amount is paid in full during your trial session, so that on your wedding day itself you do not have to think about money at all and can relax completely. Payment is easy via Payconiq.

I recommend securing your wedding date at least 6 to 12 months in advance, certainly if you marry at the weekend or during the summer months, as those are the most popular periods and fill up fastest. If you marry midweek or outside high season, there is often still room, even at shorter notice. Still unsure but do not want to lose your date? You reserve your wedding date by email, Instagram or WhatsApp. Is your date still available in my calendar? Then I lock it in for you as soon as I have received your €50 deposit. After that, you will hear from me again a few months before your wedding day, with an intake form to share all the details of your big day.

I usually plan a trial session around 6 to 8 weeks before the wedding day. That is a good guideline, not a fixed rule: if another moment suits you better, for example closer to your wedding date, we will simply look at it together. What matters most is that you feel comfortable with your hairstyle by the time the big moment arrives.

The trial session is the perfect moment to search together for the hairstyle that suits you best. The appointment takes place at my home, in a relaxed atmosphere, and lasts around 2 hours. Would you rather try several hairstyles? Then we allow some extra time. I love to hear beforehand which direction you have in mind: if you have a Pinterest board or inspiration photos, feel free to send them in advance through my intake form. That way I can prepare well and ask you the right questions, so we get the most out of the session. Do bring your veil, hair accessories or jewellery, and preferably wear a white top with a neckline similar to your wedding dress, so we get a good sense of the complete picture right away. The goal is that you go home reassured, completely confident about your hairstyle on your big day.

Choose a style you feel good in, an updo, loose hair or a half-updo, and look for photos that match it. Think of a hairstyle that feels like an "even more beautiful version" of yourself, and where possible look for inspiration from people with a similar hair colour, for a more realistic picture. It matters enormously to me that you feel truly yourself on your wedding day, radiant and confident. If the changes you want are small and still fit within the same trial session, I am happy to make them right away, so you leave feeling good. If more is needed, we plan a new trial session together, so we can take the time to get it exactly right.

Good preparation really makes a difference to the result. Take good care of your hair in the weeks beforehand, certainly if it is frizzy or dry: extra hydration helps. The evening before, wash your hair twice with shampoo, preferably without (or with very little) conditioner, and apply a volume mousse that you comb through before drying. Avoid masks, oils or serums, they make the hair too smooth. Then dry your hair with a hairdryer; if you can blow-dry yourself, do so for extra volume at the roots. If you have no experience with that, simply dry the roots upwards with a brush, without smoothing products. Do not use a straightener beforehand, hair that is too smooth holds curls less well.

Yes, on your wedding day I gladly come to your home or to the location where you are getting ready. That way you can start the day relaxed, with all the time to enjoy the preparations, without having to travel anywhere yourself.

On average I allow 2 hours for the bridal hairstyle on your wedding day. I always arrive 30 minutes early so I can set everything up calmly and we can start without stress. We agree on the exact timing clearly in advance, based on the time you need to be ready.

That depends mostly on the time everyone needs to be ready. For a bridal hairstyle I allow around 2 hours; hairstyles for the bridal party (bridesmaids, mothers, and so on) generally take a little less time. How many people fit into one morning exactly is something we look at together during the intake, so we make a schedule that works for everyone, without having to rush.

I often recommend clip-in extensions because they make a real difference to the result: they add hold to the hairstyle, keep curls looking beautiful all day, and add volume, which fine hair especially benefits from. It is certainly not obligatory: if you prefer to work with your natural hair, that works just as well.

I deliberately specialise in bridal hairstyles: half-updos and full updos. A plain blow-dry (drying the hair straight without further styling) is not something I offer. A blow-out look can be booked though, created with curls and velcro rollers so the look lasts all day.

I am based in Bertem, close to Leuven, but for your wedding day I gladly travel throughout Belgium, whether that is at home, at a reception venue, in a castle or estate, or at a hotel. I work exclusively with quality products from brands I know work well and keep a hairstyle looking beautiful all day, such as Schwarzkopf Osis+ and Redken.

I find it important that my equipment is always clean and ready to use. I care for extensions carefully between clients, and I make sure my brushes and tools are always well maintained.

My website is also available in English, the language in which I communicate most easily alongside Dutch. I speak and understand French at a basic level, so for French-speaking couples I prefer to continue in English.

Alongside bridal hairstyles, I also do party and event hairstyles, for example for a gala, a communion celebration or a photoshoot. Get in touch with your date and what you have in mind, and we will look at what is possible together.

Would you like to move your date? That is free of charge, as long as the new date is still available in my calendar. If you have to cancel completely before your trial session took place, the €50 deposit is non-refundable. If your trial session already took place, the full amount is non-refundable, since your trial session only takes place 6 to 8 weeks before your wedding day, which makes it impossible to offer that date to someone else.
